"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.."
`
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.." This is just one of the many capturing statements spoken to Bella Swan by the mysteriously charming Edward Cullen in the fascinating novel, Twilight.

I must say, after the recent and on-going teenage craze over the Twilight series, I was bored and resistant to it. The thought of so many adolescent girls everywhere screaming in utter euphoria over the somehow appealing vampire character of Edward sickened me. I was convinced I would not be phased by this series, not bothering to partake in any of it. However...
My most recent Facebook status is as follows:
Yep, I caved. After a recommendation by a friend with a most trusted opinion, similar to my own, on literature, I gave it a shot. Needless to say, I am now a fan. After reading only the first chapter I was compelled to stay up until 4am reading.. then when I woke the next morning after deciding to pursue much more pressing matters, I could resist no longer. I was absolutely immersed in it; perhaps I put the book down twice. Actually.. the only meal I've had today is breakfast; I was that dedicated.
Edward's confession to Bella is not only true for her, but for the ever increasing audience this story has captivated..
Now on to the remaining books: New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. .. I can hardly wait.

"after totally and completely resisting the Twilight craze until now, I was persistently encouraged to give it a chance. I arrived home with the book at 11pm last night.. it was finished by 3pm this afternoon. Oh how I underestimated what I was missing!"

"I’m the world’s best predator, aren’t I? Everything about me invites you in — my voice, my face, even my smell..."I love it. .. and very much pity all the young men who must somehow compete with this. Good luck.
